New Report: Funding Family Resident Services in CA

Bay Area LISC is pleased to announce the release of Funding Family Resident Services in California, prepared by UC Berkeley MPP candidate Claire Michaels with support from Bay Area LISC and our Resident Services Directors Roundtable. Focusing on two capital funding sources for affordable housing, the Tax Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC) and the Affordable Housing Program (AHP), the report shows how these two funders are influencing the provision of family resident services. The report recommends that the Resident Services Director Roundtable foster dialogue with AHP and TCAC about how to improve applications in order to improve the stability and quality of family resident services.
