Commercial Revitalization Strategies Workshop: Organizational Implications for CDCs Tackling Bay Area Corridors
Co-sponsored by the California Community Economic Development Association.
This day-long workshop was designed explicitly for participants of the Commercial Corridor Improvement Program Network.
The workshop helped commercial corridor managers as well as senior staff and Executive Directors think strategically about their goals and approaches for economic development in commercial districts. Through site visits and discussion, participants learned to match strategies to the neighborhood market in which they are operating and think about the best way to undertake the work given their organizational capacities.
