Locally and nationally, a growing number of professional development opportunities are now available to people seeking a career as Property Manager or Asset Manager of affordable housing.  Locally, Bay Area LISC and its co-sponsor Merritt Community Capital offer property management training throughout the year.  Nationally, LISC has partnered with Enterprise Foundation and the Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation to create CHAM - The Consortium for Housing & Asset Management. Under the auspices of CHAM, a comprehensive training program and professional credentials are available to affordable housing supervisors, directors of property management and asset managers.
