Bedbugs: Guidelines for Best Practices in Prevention and Treatment

Bed bug infestations are on the rise in the Bay Area, and can be a troublesome and costly problem for property managers. In June 2005, Bay Area LISC convened the Bed Bug Task Force to give these property managers a forum in which to share their experiences and wisdom on how to best deal with the critters. The task force, with the assistance of LISC staffmember Ben Palmquist, recently produced this set of guidelines to aid property managers in battling bedbug infestations in their properties. The guidelines include information on bedbug biology and behavior, prevention, inspection, treatment, and legal and health considerations. Copies can be downloaded here.
