More and more nonprofit groups are developing and owning commercial developments. Developing and managing commercial developments is very different from housing developments and requires a different set of skills and knowledge. LISC is holding two trainings to help groups successfully undertake commercial and mixed use development. These sessions are targeted to property managers, project developers, and management staff.
On Tuesday, May 29, LISC will hold its Commercial Property Management training, where participants will learn about planning for successful ongoing management of commercial and mixed-use real estate projects. On Thursday, June 28, LISC will hold its training on Developing a Retail Leasing Strategy where participants will learn to develop ambitious yet realistic strategies for retail attraction. Both sessions will be one day trainings
