Property/Asset Management
While there are some aspects of management that are the same for every type of property, retail and office projects are very different from housing in some important ways. For example, in housing projects, all of the tenants have nearly identical leases. In commercial projects every tenant might have a different type of lease and the basic terms of these leases might be quite different. Managing commercial properties requires a different set of skills and tools.
